Rick Reeves combines exquisite detail with incredible authenticity as one of the country's leading historical artists. He was recognized initially as a Civil War artist. He has since published prints covering battles and scenes from the American Revolutionary War, the Lewis and Clark Expedition, the Plains Indian Wars, the Mexican and American War, the Spanish American War, and World War II. His paintings hang in the U.S. Army War College (Carlisle Barracks), the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College (Leavenworth), the Fort Leavenworth Historical Society, the Cavalry Museum at Ft. Riley, KS, the 12th Armored Division Memorial Museum, the Atlanta Cyclorama, the Florida Sports Hall of Fame, and other public and private collections throughout the country. Rick's artwork reflects a consummate artistic ability coupled with a passion for military history.

Born in Tampa, Florida, Rick studied art at Southampton College on Long Island, University of South Florida in Tampa, and graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Studio Art. He has now been an independent historical artist for over 15 years. Rick is married and has three children.
